Father and husband first, Jason has over twenty-five years-experience in the television and video industry. He grew up producing short films with his two brothers around their Tennessee backyard. He has always had a passion for film and television, which led to the idea that behind any project there are real people. He believes in this concept so much that it has become a keystone in every production of McCosh Films.

With a resume which includes two Edward R. Murrow Awards, a Gabriel award for excellence in storytelling and several Associated Press awards, Jason is always up for the challenge of creating something amazing with both new and past clients. He got his start in television as a photojournalist at WATE, the ABC affiliate in Knoxville. After fifteen years, covering everything from local stories to presidents, he moved to Scripps Networks, now Discovery, and later would develop McCosh Films Inc.

Jason is very hands-on with every production and can be found taking on many roles inside the company. His favorite being the passion he has for editing. When not on set or in the edit bay, Jason enjoys spending time with his family, scuba diving, sailing, and cooking.
