Somehow we've forgotten how to talk to each other
Maybe we just need a reminder of what it means to be human.
who we are
We still believe people are worth paying attention to. That sounds simple. Right now it almost feels radical. Somewhere along the way the world traded human for efficient. Authentic for optimized. Real for polished. We lost the art of conversation and replaced it with viral content. We stopped talking to each other and started broadcasting at each other. And most people just went along with it because everyone else did. We never did.
For thirty years McCosh Films has been making things that remind people of what they already know but somehow forgot. That a real story told honestly can change how someone sees the world. That the most powerful thing one human being can do for another is simply make them feel seen. Every documentary we make lives there. Every podcast. Every frame of every brand film we have ever produced.
And when we discovered that organizations were losing the ability to talk to their own people, that the distance between leaders and the humans they lead had grown into something painful and expensive and entirely fixable, we built The North Star Initiative for exactly that reason. Same conviction. Same belief. Different application. We are not for everyone. We are for the ones who still think people are worth it.
